"এসো হে বৈশাখ, এসো এসো" ... চৈত্র শেষের বাসন্তী হাওয়ার হাত ধরে আবার একটা বাংলা বছর এসে গেল। পয়লা বৈশাখ মানে বাঙালীর "বার মাসের তের পার্বণ"-এর শুরু। এ বৈশাখে হালখাতা, আবার এ বৈশাখেই কবিগুরুর জন্মতিথি। বৈশাখ মানে খর গ্রীষ্মের নিদাঘ, আবার বৈশাখ মানে আম - জাম - কাঁঠালের পসরাও বটে। আমরা, শার্লটের প্রবাসীরাও, প্রতি বছর উৎসব, আনন্দ, পিকনিক, বাঙালীর খাওয়াদাওয়া, আর গান-কবিতার অনুষ্ঠানে বরণ করে নিই এই বাংলা নববর্ষকে। 

নতুন বছর আপনার ভালো কাটুক। প্রবাসীর পক্ষ থেকে, বাংলা নববর্ষের শুভেচ্ছা রইল।

(Enter the park and continue down the road until it starts to curve toward the left. Where you see 2 right turns, take the first one toward the Nature Center. Continue down past the Nature Center and stay toward the right down the hill. Shelter will be on the left.)
