For Bengalis living away from their homeland, Probasi Kali Pujo is much more than a religious celebration. It is a cherished tradition that brings the community together, preserving cultural roots and creating a sense of home far from Bengal.

The festivities begin with the worship of Maa Kali, accompanied by devotional chants, lighting of lamps, and community prayers. Food plays a central role in the celebration, with delicious Bengali specialties  and festive bhog shared among family and friends.

Beyond the puja, Probasi Kali Pujo is a vibrant cultural gathering featuring drama performance. These events help pass on Bengali traditions to the next generation while strengthening bonds within the community, making the festival a joyful celebration of faith, culture, and togetherness. 🪔🌺🙏
